The Gathering 2009

As many of you know Trees4Scotland teamed up with The Gathering 2009 to plant a woodland that would act both to commemorate the event and also as a legacy of the year of homecoming.

In partnership with Miss Earth (www.missearthgirls.co.uk) Trees4Scotland launched a new campaign called Girls4Trees. We set each of the finalists for the beauty pageant a challenge to get as many trees planted as possible ahead of the grand final.

The Big TV Appearance…

mac-tv.jpgWe have finally made it – our big moment has arrived. Yes Teaghlach Wood will be on TV! Shortly after The Gathering a TV crew came up to Comrie to film and interview with Angus on site at the new woodland.

Angus meets Prince Charles

Angus was delighted to attend a drinks reception at Holyrood House recently following an invitation by the Duke and Duchess of Rothsay – or Prince Charles and Camilla as they are better known!
