Trees4Scotland to exhibit at the Famous Grouse Festival

Yes I know what you are thinking…we choose our events carefully right?  Well we can’t wait as the line up is excellent and there should be a good footfall of people willing to support Trees4Scotland.

Lets keep the fingers crossed that Scotland does not keep up the same level of rainfall that exceeded the monsoon in Mumbai recently!

New Sponsors for Tree Amigos

We are delighted that Edinburgh and Glasgow Airports are continuing their support for the Tree Amigos Programme.  We will even being getting some of the kids to help with the planting of two trees outside the terminal building in Glasgow!

Following the Grandfather Games Angus went on to Knoxville and met up with Rob Roy McGregor to visit the Knoxville Botanical Garden and Arboretum where they have created a fabulous area dedicated to the Tree4TwoNations initiative that we are so involved in developing.

City Cabs go even Greener

You may remember that City Cabs in Edinburgh planted 400 trees – one for every taxi and member of staff.  Well they have now taken things one step further by embracing the new concept of “Eco Advertising and Promotions” via Trees4Scotlands sister organisation Gecoadz.

Angus goes to Grandfather Mountain

Last month Angus flew off to the United States to attend the Grandfather Mountain Highland Games for the second year in succession.  Building on the relationships established last year Trees4Scotland continues to make many more friends across all the Scottish Clans and Societies groups that are so active in the US.
