About Us & Our Trees

Trees4Scotland was founded in 2008 and is dedicated to planting native permanent woodlands in Scotland.

By working with landowners, businesses and the general public, we have a completely sustainable model that will continue to plant trees long after Teaghlach Wood is completed.

Planting trees in Scotland

Scotland currently has about 17% woodland coverage and unless this is increased dramatically we will not achieve our climate change targets. The European average is about 32% woodland coverage – and this is still not enough.

We are passionate about our trees, regeneration of wildlife habits and about tackling climate change.
