We helped them work out the carbon footprint created by their tours and they offset that by planting trees with us. Charlie Cornelius and his team visited the woodland to help with the planting and had so much fun that they decided to also include Teaghlach Wood in their customer itineraries!

Pretty much once a week the Wild in Scotland tour bus will stop when it is en-route between Sky and St Andrews to allow their guests to get a few lungfuls of fresh air and plant some trees!

Charlie comments, “While it was important to offset our unavoidable carbon emissions we also decided that it was just as important to involve our customers in the experience. Trees offer a way of leaving a lasting legacy and that really appeals to visitos to Scotland”.
