They celebrated their 50th anniversary this year and as a symbol of their commitment to invest in the future they planted 500 trees in Teaghlach Wood – 10 for each year they have been in existence.
Being located in central Scotland gives us the opportunity to welcome our partners and supporters to visit us on site and to get involved. Despite the smart suits it was great to welcome Managing Partner Ian Gillies and Jim Robb, Senior Partner to Teaghlach wood to cut a few turfs!
One of the aims for the woodland is that it will be representative of all that is good, green and innovative about Scotland and Scottish business – which is why it is so good to have the support of one of Scotland most established brands.
It is no coincidence that Graham + Sibbald wished to celebrate this milestone by ‘Laying down their Scottish roots’. Way back in February 1959, Sandy Graham, went into partnership with Greig Sibbald, to establish what was then the only solely valuation-based practice in Dundee.
The Firm has grown considerably since its early days – from a single Office, to a Network of 14 Offices across the UK.
At present, ‘the environment’ ranks high on Graham + Sibbald’s agenda. The company is rolling out seminars to increase the awareness of the importance of EPC’s, Green Leases and Carbon Reduction Commitments 2010.
Welcome on board and we look forward to welcoming you back to the site to see your Oak Status plaque.
