The Grand Final of Miss Earth UK was held recently in Leamington Spa with two of Trees4Scotland's founders sitting on the judging panel!

The judging panel was made up of a selection of eco-minded individuals mixed in with some celebrities. Gus and Steve of Trees4Scotland saw to it that there was a touch of tartan at the event but were disappointed when the Sugababes didn’t turn up to join them on the judging panel. Nevertheless there was plenty glamour in the form of supermodel, Hofit Golan, TV presenter, Aisleyne and Steve from Spandeau Ballet!

Notes were also swapped with Dr Earth, owner and founder of Club4Climate, the world’s first ecological club at Bar Surya, Kings Cross, London (http://www.club4climate.com/)

As sponsors of the event, Trees4Scotland offset the events carbon footprint and the footprints of the UK regional winners when they attend the world final in the Philippines later this year.

Trees4Scotland would like to extend our thanks to all the contestants who are a terrific example to other young people today. There really was very little difference between the winners and the rest of the pack and we wish all of you the very best for the future – keep up the good work!
