While he may not be a household name in Scotland Carl Peterson has been an ever present face on the US and Canadian Highland Games circuit for many years. Originally hailing from Greenock, Carl has undeniably become the most successful and busiest Scottish singer in North America, performing at numerous festivals and concerts, and creating nearly 30 recordings.

As the official woodland of The Gathering 2009 event our own Teaghlach Wood now has the wholehearted support of the event’s organiser, Lord Jamie Sempill. Despite a lot of criticism due to its financial troubles The Gathering event was seen by many as a resounding success.
