Trees4Scotland launched the second year of the now expanded Tree Amigos environment project at Edinburgh Airport last week. This year will see primary schools in Glasgow joining those in Edinburgh to work on the project which culminates in a visit to Teaghlach Wood.

Our Tree Amigos schools project has been featured on the BBC News website:
"Edinburgh Airport has donated £10,000 to a project which will see school pupils plant 500 trees and learn about offsetting their carbon footprints."

 27 March, 2010, 8:30pm: 1 Hour
Across the globe, lights will go off for one hour in homes, businesses, public buildings and landmarks in a graphic demonstration of support for determined international action on climate change and carbon reduction.
Trees4Scotland is committed to Earth Hour and will switch off all the lights in our offices for 1 hour.
