We are always happy to do our bit to help you comply with statutory and Historic Scotland’s requirements by ensuring that the historical style and character of your property is maintained.
Our services and products
Within our modern workshops in Stirling we can manufacture any non-standard piece of joinery to your exact specification: from staircases, windows and doors to specialist bespoke and reproduction timber sections, including period feature moldings such as architraves, cornices, panel moulds, dado rails and picture rails.
We offer a specialist bespoke machining service, where we can reproduce a profile to match an existing one. This will make all the difference if you are trying to restore traditional period features and only wish to replace damaged timber. All we need is a sample or an accurate drawing to scale. This bespoke service allows you to choose your profile in the species of timber you require. Our Sash Windows and panel doors are manufactured to replicate traditional designs with the addition of discreetly installed draught seals which provide your customer with modern standards of draught proofing and operation while still retaining the all important traditional appearance.
Where the manufactured joinery is specified for a property which falls within a conservation area or is listed we are able to exactly match the original ensuring compliance with local authority and Historic Scotland requirements.
Our Environmental Commitment
Our environmental commitments are taken seriously. Not only does timber offer elegance, warmth and safety to your home, it is also beneficial to the environment. Timber is the ultimate sustainable and recyclable material. It requires low energy consumption to process, and is thermally efficient in use. We believe we have a responsibility to minimise our impact on the environment and to make a positive contribution to environmentally sustainable business practices, wherever possible. To this end, we consider the environmental impact in any decision making; and to dealing with environmentally conscious companies wherever possible.
