Edinburgh Airport is Scotland’s capital airport. More than 40 airlines serve 100-plus destinations and some nine million passengers a year pass through the airport – figures which are set to grow as Scotland’s international connections develop.
Our services and products
We are the owner and operator at Edinburgh Airport. We are landlord to all the airlines, handling agents, shops, air traffic control and support companies at the airport. We ensure that the airport is run as efficiently as possible, managing aircraft, vehicle and passenger movements throughout the campus in line with Department for Transport requirements. We also carry out maintenance and cleaning of the buildings.
The airport has it’s own Fire Service, Security Team, maintenance team, landscapers and contractors. Construction of new facilities is key to our business as the airport continues to expand.
Our Environmental Commitment
For Edinburgh Airport, corporate responsibility is about managing our business in a way that enhances the positive and minimises the negative economic, social and environmental impacts of our activities. This means that we are committed to;
Ensuring compliance with all applicable legal requirements and with other relevant requirements.
Continuously seeking to understand and improve sustainability performance.
Preventing and reducing pollution, emissions and waste.
In order to meet these commitments locally, Edinburgh Airport sets and reviews corporate responsibility targets and objectives which are reported on internally and externally.
