What makes our project special?
The Big Tree Project is a multi-dimensional project that is not only aimed at providing a vehicle for individuals, businesses and organisations to offset their carbon emissions but also to restore part of central Scotland back to its natural woodland state. At the same time we will be encouraging the indigenous species of wildlife to return to the area.
The location for the project is Balmuick Farm, which is found above the village of Comrie in the Perthshire district of Scotland. The farm’s owner is seeking to diversify in a move to help to help the environment and to help sustain the traditional sheep farming lifestyle for him and his family.
Should you wish to visit the project or indeed plant the tree yourself then all you have to do is click here to contact us.
We aim to plant 50,000 trees that are all native to Scotland – and by helping you offset your carbon emissions we are confident that we can achieve this.
