The guest of honour at the event was due to be Cabinet Secretary for Rural Affairs and the Environment, viagra buy Richard Lochhead, order but he has been left stranded in Inverness. One of the originators of the concept, viagra buy Angus Crabbie of Trees4Scotland, was also unable to travel due to the closure of Edinburgh Airport.

Angus comments, “We are all very disappointed that the event has had to be postponed due to the heavy snowfall here in Scotland. Our partners over in Knoxville have been very supportive and a decision was made late last night to reschedule the event for Scotland week in April 2011”.

Top government officials from both Scotland and the United States were due to attend a ceremonial tree planting in Knoxville, Tennessee on Sunday, Dec. 5, 2010. The event will now take place in April 2011 with the planting of a Flowering Dogwood and a Scottish Oak signifying the launch of Trees4TwoNations and the strengthening of environmental, commercial and cultural bonds between Knoxville and Edinburgh, Scotland.

A reciprocal event in Scotland is still due to take place at the end of February 2011.
